Site Access

It is important that confirmation of the ‘way in’ to the site and which car parks to use, outside visiting hours, is received from the events department prior to issuing invitations and instructions to delegates and guests. Unfortunately, vehicles will not be able to stay on site overnight following your event.

Insurance Cover

You will be required to provide proof of suitable insurance to cover cost of repair to Eden Project buildings, grounds and property in the event of damage being caused by you, your guests or contractors. The policy should also provide cover for personal injury and third party liability.

Cancellation Cover

There will be a cancellation charge should the confirmed event be cancelled prior to the booked date.

Clothing and Footwear

The Visitor Centre Gallery is within easy walking distance of the car parks.

The Humid Tropics Biome has an average temperature of 28 degrees centigrade, the pathways follow gradual gradients.

Power Supply

For additional electrically powered equipment used for events, we will need to know the amperage and voltage required.

Photography and Media

Professional photographers must contact the Press and PR department for permission to photograph/film on the premises.

I’m looking for something completely different. Can you accommodate?

At the Eden Project we stage everything from rock concerts and trade shows; and we’ve created rainforests and ice rinks. Doing things that are out of the ordinary are what makes us tick, so if you have an ambitious project then we will be only too happy to hear your proposal and see what we can do.

Will my event be carbon neutral?

Yes. When choosing to hold your event here you are not only helping to fund a charitable project (Eden is a charity) you are supporting our programmes such as Waste Neutral. Your event itself will be carbon neutral, but if you are concerned about other aspects such as transport and accommodation, we can assist with calculating your emissions and you can offset them via our carbon neutral fund.
